President Moody opened the Committee on American Civics Hearing at 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Justo, Mrs. Morten and Mr. Parks reported to the board. President Moody closed the hearing at 5:47 P.m.
President Moody called the regular meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. It was noted the Open Meeting Laws was duly posted. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
Motion by Klug and seconded by Teadtke to approve the Agenda. RCV: Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and seconded by Adema to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on March 8, 2021. RCV: Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Adema and seconded by Bolling to approve the bills as presented. RCV: Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye. Motion approved.

Motion by Adema and seconded by Bolling to accept the resignation of Raeanna Carlson effective at the completion of contractual duties for the 2020-2021 school year. RCV: Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye. Motion approved.

Motion by Bolling and seconded by Teadke to approve a teaching contract to Bruklynn Henery, for the 2021-2022 school year. RCV: Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and seconded by Teadke to approve a teaching contract to Virginia Callahan, for the 2021-2022 school year contingent on Nebraska Certification. RCV: Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Bolling and seconded by Klug to approve a 3% increase on the classified wages for the 2021-22 school year as presented and to increase the wage of the Technology Coordinator to $17.50 per hour. RCV: Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Klug and seconded by Teadtke to appoint Margaret Sandoz, Superintendent as the authorized State and Federal Programs director for the 2021-2022 school year. RCV: Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye, Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye. Motion approved.
Motion by Teadke and seconded by Adema to approve the purchase Ready Math from the Curriculum Associates as the K-8 resource as presented for $24,806.00 for three years with a savings of $18,635.00. RCV: Teadtke-aye, Bolling-aye, Adema-aye, Moody-aye, Klug-aye, Paulsen-aye. Motion approved.
