Niobrara Verdigre Cougar Joint Board Meeting
MINUTES OF MEETING
December 3, 2024
This agenda was published in Niobrara Tribune, November 29,2024.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform board members from both Niobrara and
Verdige about the current systems. This meeting should strengthen the cooperative and
enhance the student athlete opportunities.

Chairman Moody called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. It was noted that Open
Meeting Laws was duly posted. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
Chairman Hrbek called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
Communication on various topics were explained and discussed.
Coaching requirements were explained. Policies on student eligibility and attendance
were reviewed. Differences were discussed.
Athletic Director Svec shared the pay schedule for workers at activities.
Uniform purchase, rotation, requisitioning and purchasing policies was discussed and
evaluated.
Procedure for state qualifiers and financial arrangements including usage of Purchase
Orders and cost sharing was discussed.
Fundraising for athletics is monitored differently by each school and discussion on how
this will affect spending was addressed.
Personalization’s on uniforms, common booster club and fundraiser promoting was also
addressed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
