Bio Information

  My name is James Parks (JJ).  I teach Middle School ELA and Social Studies. I am married to Tammie Parks and have two daughters, Emily and Ashley.

 I started as a para working with a student in O'Neill for three years and have taught for 26 years in Niobrara as of 24-25. I have taught 4th-8th Science and Social Studies and MS language arts. I graduated from O'Neill Public High School and earned my BAE in Elementary Education and MAE in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College.

 I am coaching HS Football. girls junior high BB and Track.  I have coached or assisted in all sports here except HS Volleyball, Cross Country, Wrestling, and Golf.  I was the athletic director for several years.  I am currently the 7th-grade sponsor and on the Social Studies SAC team for writing curriculum.
